As nice as it is to believe that an atheist can be “converted” I question just how many of the stages of disbelief this person passed through, if such menial arguments are able to convince him.

    • I too, once, could not could not understand the idea of ‘believing in God’ as though it required some act of my own to get my mind to believe in something that I did not believe existed. In hindsight I can now see that the Lord, the Creator of this Universe, the self-existant One, was on my case all along. It was not a matter of getting to believe in my mind, but of surrender to His Will in my life. Act 2:21

…whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It was not a series of mental hurdles that needed overcoming but surrendering of my will to His. Then belief was merely allowing the Holy Spirit to work in my heart that work of changing me and re-wiring me to His Will and purpose.
      John 6:47 (Jesus speaking)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
