I’m John Gideon Hartnett. I am an adjunct Associate Professor in the Institute of Photonics and Advanced Sensing at the University of Adelaide. I retired in April 2016 but continue to be involved in the same research at the university. I currently live in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.
I am a fan of the Bible, science, anything in the cosmos and religions, particularly true Christianity. I study its history and what it really means to follow the Master.
I am married with 9 children. We currently have 9 grandchildren. My wife and I lived overseas for 12 years in Singapore, Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak), Indonesia and Japan and 5 of our children were born overseas.
I am a Christian with a biblical creationist worldview. I consider what God has said more important than anything man has ever said.
